BDAA made an application to the Bexhill Lions via the Lions Den, for monies to support Singing Down Memory Lane (SDML) and were delighted to be told that we were successful! Lin Smith and Sally Hemmings attended the presentation evening at the Manor Barn on Monday evening and were given a cheque for £1000. This will mean that Singing Down Memory Lane can continue to provide the wonderful singing (and dancing!) sessions currently enjoyed by so many people with dementia and their carers.
Many many thanks to Richard Winrow and all the Lions who developed this idea, and who appreciated the efforts of everyone involved with SDML.
Our next SDML is on Friday 3rd February at 10:30, St Augustine’s Church hall Bexhill …come and join in the fun!
